Our Members Networking "To Learn and To Teach" in Support of California Agriculture

Who we are.

Members of California Women for Agriculture include active farm, ranch and nursery operators and partners, agricultural trade association and commodity group leaders, government workers, educators, small business owners, homemakers, consumers, and professionals in such fields as law, marketing, banking, accounting, public relations and pest management. True to its name, CWA"s members are for agriculture, not always in farming in the traditional sense.

Our Mission

To learn about and encourage our members to become active on issues such as water, endangered species, land use and private property rights, food safety and pest management, economics and trade, agricultural labor, animal welfare, resource issues and biotechnology, among others. Chapter members are encouraged to participate in state and local meetings and activities.

CWA fills the much-needed role of an informed and actively involved group of volunteers supporting agriculture.
